Our Story

Production industry veteran, Niki Cook founded C2ok as a natural next step following over three decades of field experience in television, news media, cinema, music, and performing arts industries.

Niki is known as a meticulous production mastermind. She has managed projects in diverse locations and under challenging circumstances throughout France and beyond and has considerable international experience.

Trained as a lighting designer she worked in the craft for over 15 years before transitioning into the fields of production and management in media, arts & entertainment.

Prior to founding C2ok Productions, for fifteen years Niki headed up productions for The Paris Bureau, an international television production company founded in 1999 by Pat Thompson and Jim Bittermann specializing in news, documentaries, TV series and reality formats for the North American market.

As an American born in France, Niki has simultaneously experienced both cultures. As a seasoned professional the thinking behind C2ok was to pull all these experiences into one format and run with it.

That became a reality in June 2021.

Clients include: Amazon Prime, ABC, CBS, CNN, CTV, NBC, Discovery, Food Channel, Fox, Golf Channel, History Channel, PBS, National Geographic, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Reshet, Tennis Channel, TLC, and Seven Network Australia.

C2ok’s mission is to create a memorable and positive filming experience for English-language media clients. Be they large or small projects, we want you to take home fond memories, new friends, and a craving to come back.
France is a terrific playground to film in - the rest is history and for that we have the Lumière Brothers to thank – clearly they were on to something in 1895….

I tip my hat to the companies and individuals I have had the privilege to work with over the years - you know who you are. Thanks to such diverse experiences with incredibly professional and talented people, I am ready to give it a go on my own.
